The Lighthouse Method

A Steady, Strategic Framework for Families Navigating a Loved One’s Substance Use

You Cannot Control the Storm.

Whether your loved one is resisting treatment or has just entered it, you may feel exhausted, reactive, or unsure what to do next.

You have tried reasoning.
You have tried helping.
You have tried setting limits.

And still, you feel pulled into chaos.

You love this person deeply.
That’s why this is so hard.

The Lighthouse Method™ is not about controlling your loved one.

It is about helping you remain anchored in the storm.

Because when you respond with clarity instead of panic, the entire system shifts.

This Work Moves You From Reactivity to Steadiness.

You cannot force someone into recovery.

You cannot manage every decision they make.

But you can:

– Regulate your responses

– Clarify what is and is not within your control

– Strengthen your boundaries

– Communicate with intention instead of fear

– Respond with clarity instead of panic

A lighthouse does not chase the ship.

It remains steady — no matter how turbulent the water becomes.
This work teaches you how to do the same.

What The Lighthouse Method™ Provides

This is not therapy.
This is not intervention training.

This is strategic family coaching designed to help you:

– Understand the dynamics at play
– Identify enabling patterns
– Clarify your role in the system
– Establish boundaries that protect your family
– Navigate treatment decisions with steadiness
– Support recovery without collapsing into it

Whether your loved one enters treatment or not, your stability matters.

How It Works

Every family is different.
The principles remain steady.

You’ll receive:

Step One: Exploratory Call
We begin with a complimentary 15–20 minute call to assess your situation and determine the
appropriate level of support.
From there, you may choose:

Lighthouse Intensive (90 Minutes)
A focused, high-impact session designed to stabilize the situation and clarify next steps.
Ideal when:
– You feel overwhelmed
– A treatment decision is imminent
– Your loved one just entered treatment
– You need direction now
Investment: $400

Strategic Family Sessions (60 Minutes)
Short-term coaching to help you:
– Clarify boundaries
– Navigate communication
– Evaluate treatment options
– Remain steady during transitions
Investment: $250 per session
Most families work together for 1–6 sessions depending on the situation.

This Is For You If:

– Your loved one’s substance use has destabilized your family
– You feel emotionally reactive and exhausted
Treatment is being considered — or has just begun
– You want to respond strategically instead of impulsively
– You are ready to steady yourself, regardless of what your loved one chooses

This Is Not For You If:

– You are seeking therapy for trauma processing
– You want someone to force your loved one into treatment
– You are unwilling to examine your own role in the system

You Do Not Have to Collapse Just Because the Situation Feels Unstable.

Your loved one’s choices are not fully within your control.

Your steadiness is.

Schedule an exploratory call, and we will determine the right next step for your family.
